Coming from Wellington:

Just before you enter Greytown, there is a T intersection, with a road running off to your right.  This road is called Moroa Plains Road.  On your right hand side of this intersection is a Carters, timber merchant.  On the other side of the intersection is a school.  Turn right into Moroa Plains Road and travel down this road approximately 2.4 kms.  On your left will be Rose Cottage.  Look for a gabled grey roof visible from the road, set amongst trees with a fence with trellis windows in it.  Directly opposite the cottage on the other side of the road is a corrugated iron hayshed with stock yards.  On the road side in front of the fence is a green 44 gallon drum with the words ‘Rose Cottage’ spray painted on it.  The number 2488 is on the letterbox at the front gate.

Coming from Masterton:
